Terms of purchase - byStone AB

These terms apply to all orders between byStone AB and the customer.

1. Order

Orders are placed through an approved quote. When the customer accepts the quote, the order becomes binding.

2. Prices

All prices are based on the information provided by the customer. Final price may be adjusted after measurement and is confirmed before production starts.

3. Measurement and preparation

The customer is responsible for ensuring the area is ready for measurement. If the area is not ready, a new appointment may be required, which may result in additional cost.

4. Material

Ceramic and quartz composite are manufactured materials. Natural stone (granite and marble) varies in colour, structure, and pattern. Shade differences can also occur between a sample and the finished slab. This is not considered a defect.

5. Payment

• 50% of the total amount is paid in advance when placing the order
• Remaining 50% is paid after completed installation

For orders where the customer provides drawings and measurements:

• 100% prepayment is required before production starts

Payment is made by invoice unless otherwise agreed. Payment deadline is stated in the quote.

In case of late payment, default interest and any fees may apply according to applicable law.

6. Delivery and installation

Delivery and installation are carried out according to the agreement in the quote. Typical lead time is 3–5 weeks from approved quote and drawing, depending on material and workload. If installation is included, byStone AB is responsible for assembly according to agreement.

7. Inspection and claims

The customer must inspect the work after installation. Any visible defects must be reported within reasonable time.

8. Ownership

The product remains the property of byStone AB until full payment has been made.

9. Force majeure

byStone AB is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control.

10. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. That right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Custom-cut stone, ceramic, and quartz composite slabs are such goods. Once you have accepted the quote and production has started, the purchase cannot be cancelled under the 14-day rule. A quote is not binding until you accept it.

11. Applicable law

Swedish law applies. Any disputes are settled in Swedish court.
